What works in watch ads
- Keep the dial readable. Hands, indices and the crown have to survive phone size, so the case should fill a good part of the ad.
- Name one spec per ad. Movement (automatic or quartz), case size (40 mm), crystal or water resistance: pick the one your buyer cares about most.
- Show it worn. Case size is the hardest thing to judge on a white background, and a wrist shot from your store settles it.
- Spec-led or feeling-led? People who know watches respond to movements and materials; newer buyers respond to everyday style. Test both.
- Straps are a reason to buy. If your watch has quick-release straps or ships with two, an outfit-led ad can sell it.
Specs: only what your page backs
Water ratings and movement claims are where watch ads get into trouble. Our annotated product format draws callouts to real parts of the watch, and every callout has to match your product page. If your page says 5 ATM, the ad won't say 100 m.
Honest note: we never redraw or retouch the watch. The dial in the ad is your photo, cut out cleanly.
Gift ads work well for watches around graduations, Father's Day and the holidays. Put the occasion, plus any engraving or gift-box offer your store has, in Your brief.
