What we read from WooCommerce
- Products, most popular first, so the first ads feature what already sells.
- Prices to the cent, including sale prices, so a real discount becomes a price-drop ad and nothing else does.
- Product photos, the same images your shop shows.
- Rating and review count, plus review texts we can quote word for word.
If a shop blocks the Store API or sits behind a bot wall, we try fetching its pages another way. If that fails too, upload screenshots of the product page or type the details in.
Getting the most from a WooCommerce catalog
- Set sale prices on the product, not only in a banner. We read the sale price from the product itself. For a discount that lives only in a site banner or a coupon, type it into Your brief.
- Keep product reviews switched on. No reviews means no review ads. Even a few dozen real reviews give the engine quotes to work with.
- Lead with a clean main image. The first product image usually makes the best cutout; put lifestyle shots after it.
- Write descriptions with specifics. Sizes, materials and what's in the box become callouts on annotated ads.
Where the ads go
Every ad comes at 4:5, 1:1, 9:16, 2:3 and 1.91:1. On Growth, Pro and Scale, send the ads to Meta Ads Manager as paused drafts (the 4:5 version; add other sizes per placement there). For Google and Pinterest, download and upload. Your shop doesn't change at all: we only read it. Running a sale? See discount ads.
