What works in sunglasses ads
- Decide: look or lens? A style ad lets the frame shape carry it; a lens ad names the benefit, like polarized or UV400, when your page states it.
- Watch for blown-out lenses. A reflection that hides the tint sells nothing, and your cleanest packshot makes the best cutout.
- Face shots sell fit. If your store has on-face photos, a lifestyle ad answers "will these suit me?" better than any copy.
- Name the shape and the tint. "Round tortoiseshell, green lens" helps a shopper picture it; "classic style" does not.
- Sell the choice. Frames that come in several tints, or with a case, can carry a "pick your tint" message.
Timing the season
Sunglasses sales bunch up around the first warm weeks, vacations and gift season. Set the goal to seasonal and add an occasion like "summer launch" in Your brief. For a sale, write the exact offer and it goes in as written. We never add countdowns or stock warnings your store doesn't show.
A useful first test: one ad on the lens benefit against one on the frame's look, same frame, same price. On weekly plans, the next batch leans on whichever wins.
