We ran five common jewelry ad and product photography prompts for Gilt Harbor, a fictional brand, through the image models behind ChatGPT and Gemini and a Midjourney-style keyword prompt, and checked each pair against the packshot.

Asked for one hoop in each lobe, it put both in the same ear, so close they overlap. Where they cross, the pair reads as one doubled hoop.
The second ear never appears, so the image can't show how the pair is worn.
Could you run it? The metal is right and the styling isn't what was asked. Fine for a stacked look only if you sell it that way.

What the five runs show for jewelry

Gold renders beautifully in every model now. What drifts is the geometry: the text-only ChatGPT run thinned the hoops, the Gemini run shrank one to a dot on an ear, and the keyword prompt redrew the card. For a product sold by the millimetre, that's the defect.

With the packshot attached, ChatGPT kept the hoops and card exactly, and Nano Banana Pro kept the metal but not the instructions, placing both hoops in one ear. Both still needed a careful look at full size before use.

Tips for each tool, for jewelry

ChatGPT

Attach the packshot. From words alone our run thinned the hoops; with the photo it kept them at 3 mm.
Give the size in millimetres and say "must look this size". Models scale jewelry for drama otherwise.
Add "no sparkle effects". Starbursts look cheap and hide the finish shoppers want to see.

Gemini

For on-body shots, say exactly how many pieces and where each goes. Our Nano Banana Pro run put both hoops in one ear.
Close-ups of skin come out very real; check the metal colour against your photo, since warm light shifts gold toward copper.
If you let it write the copy, cut every benefit you can't point to on your page.

Midjourney-style tools

"Macro" and "sparkling highlights" get you drama, not your piece. Use the render for mood boards or backgrounds.
Text on packaging comes out larger and restyled. Keep your own card in your own photo.
The --ar parameter only works in Midjourney itself; other tools return their default shape.
