Valentine's offers that suit candles
| Offer | Why it fits a candle | What the ad shows |
|---|---|---|
| A pair price (Pip & Oak's 2 for $56) | Two scents for two moods, or one for each of you | Both prices: the pair and the single $32 |
| A gift set at one price | A trio in a box is a ready-made gift (Pip & Oak lists one at $84) | Every candle in the set, and the set price |
| Gift wrap and a note | Candles are often bought to be handed over at dinner | The wrapped jar, and the last day the wrap is free |
| A self-gift after the 14th | People buy candles for themselves all year | The everyday price and the best scent detail, no Valentine's words |
Pip & Oak's pair ad names only Fig & Cedar's notes, because its store data lists the notes of that candle alone. If your second candle is part of the offer, put its notes on its own product page first, so the ad has something true to say about it.
A romantic photo that's also safe
The fire-safety advice from the NFPA is plain: keep candles at least 12 inches from anything that can burn, and blow them out before you leave a room or go to bed. An ad that shows the opposite sells the scent and teaches a habit you don't want customers to copy.
- No lit candles on beds, near petals, curtains or bath towels. Put the lit jar on a table or a tray with clear space around it.
- The unlit jar is the product shot. It shows the label, the lid and what arrives. A lit candle is the mood shot, not the only shot.
- Keep people awake in the frame. A couple asleep beside a burning candle is the exact scene the safety advice warns against.
- Show the evening with objects. Two glasses, a book, a plate: the night in reads without a flame next to anything soft.
The Valentine's calendar for candle brands
| Date (2027) | What happens | What it means for your ads |
|---|---|---|
| Mon, Jan 18 | Pair ads start | Lead with the evening and the pair price; the jar stays the hero of every image. |
| Mon, Jan 25 | Stock check | Lead with the scents you have most of. An ad that sends people to a sold-out scent wastes the click. |
| Thu, Feb 4 | Pip & Oak's last order day for delivery by Sat, Feb 13 | Two days to wrap and pack, then ground shipping at its slow end. The order-by ads stop on Friday. |
| Wed, Feb 10 | Priority Mail at 3 days, the last paid option for Saturday | Glass jars are heavy, so faster shipping costs more than for jewelry. If you sell it, put the price in the ad. |
| Sat, Feb 13 and Sun, Feb 14 | Galentine's Day and Valentine's Day | A candle can't arrive now. An e-gift card can, and so can local pickup if you have a counter. |
| Mon, Feb 15 to Sun, Feb 28 | After Valentine's | Self-gift ads at the everyday $32: a scent for the rest of winter. |
| March | Spring scents and Mother's Day planning | Make the Mother's Day ads before February's run out. |
Valentine's candle copy lines
- Two scents, one night in. 2 for $56.
- Fig, cedarwood, a hint of vanilla. 50 hours of it.
- Dinner at home, sorted.
- "Fills the whole living room without being too much."
- A jar you'll keep after the candle's gone.
- Order by Thu, Feb 4 for delivery by Sat, Feb 13.
Lines to skip: "Non-toxic" (unless you can prove it), "Set the mood" (every candle ad in February says it), and anything that suggests leaving it burning overnight.
Making candle Valentine's ads with StoreToAds
Paste your store link and type the pair offer in Your brief, with its end date and your order-by date. Put "lit candle on a bed" or "near petals" in Never say and the planner keeps those scenes out. Scent notes, burn time, prices and reviews come from your product pages and are checked. All year: candle ad ideas and the candle ad generator.
