What Zeely is great at
Zeely is built for owners who don't want to learn ad tools. Its plan cards list marketing video ads, edit-ready templates, talking reels, prompt to ad, batch static ads, avatar customization and an AI image enhancer, and you can launch paid Facebook and Instagram campaigns from inside the app.
- A fast first ad. The happy reviews mostly say the same thing: it's quick to set up. One 4-star reviewer on Trustpilot wrote they were generating ads within 5 minutes.
- Video and avatars in the same place as static images.
- The campaign, not only the creative. Zeely can run the Meta campaign for you. Its pricing page notes a fee of up to 12% on ad spend run through Zeely.
If you want one app that makes the video, writes the post and runs the campaign, Zeely covers more ground than StoreToAds does.
What reviewers complain about
Zeely's Trustpilot score is high: 4.3 from 4,348 reviews on October 17, 2026. The complaints sit in the low-star reviews, and most of them are about money rather than the ads.
| Theme | How often | What reviewers describe |
|---|---|---|
| Billing and cancelling | 10 of 20 | A charge after a paid intro plan ended, or a bigger plan than they expected |
| Output looked generic or obviously AI | 5 of 20 | Ads they felt they could have made anywhere |
| No free sample | 3 of 20 | Having to pay before seeing a single ad |
“there is no free trial or sample generation; the lowest-cost 'trial' is paid”
Trustpilot, 1-star review, Sep 29, 2026“I paid $19.95 for a two-week trial... Zeely later attempted to charge my card $79.95”
Trustpilot, 1-star review, Oct 13, 2026“I pay 80 per month for credits and they remove unused credits rather than letting credits build up”
Trustpilot, 1-star review, Oct 1, 2026“Tried to generate 3 videos and 1 image. None of the output is usable.”
Trustpilot, 1-star review, Oct 6, 2026
Several of these describe what Zeely's own help center says will happen. The intro plans are paid, and when one ends, "your account will automatically move to the Growth plan at $79.95 per month." Knowing that before you start avoids most of the surprises above.

Where StoreToAds is different
The first difference is the order of things. You paste your store link and see 3 finished ads of your own product before anyone asks for a card. If they're not good, you've spent three minutes.
The second is what each ad is made of. Every ad is built around the photo already on your product page: the product is cut out and placed in a designed layout, so the label and packaging stay exactly as you shot them. The price, sale price, star rating, review count and any customer quote come from your store, and each one is checked against it before the ad reaches you.

The third is what happens to your money afterwards. Fixes cost nothing: change a word, ask AI to change the ad, or make a motion version. Ads you don't use roll over. Cancelling is a button on the billing page, and the first payment is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Honest note: we don't make avatar videos or talking reels, post to social media, or run your campaigns and budgets. If those are why you use Zeely, keep it for them.
Who should not switch
- You want avatar videos and talking reels. We don't make them.
- You want one app to run the Meta campaign, budget and audience. StoreToAds makes the ads and can place them in your account as paused ads; you publish and set the budget.
- You don't sell a physical product from a store. We build ads from product facts. You can type a product in by hand, but real reviews on a real page give the ads more to work with.
- Zeely's output works for you and its billing has never surprised you. Then switching isn't worth the effort.
How to switch from Zeely
- Download what you've made. Zeely's help center says that once the billing period ends after you cancel, unused plan and extra credits expire, so save your finished videos and images first.
- Cancel in the app. Per Zeely's help center: open app.zeely.ai, click the profile circle at the lower left, then your email to open Account settings, choose Subscription & payments, click the arrow on your current plan, pick Cancel subscription, give a reason and press Continue. It says you keep access until the expiration date it shows.
- Know the refund rule before you ask. Zeely's subscription and refund policy says payments are nonrefundable except as stated there or required by law, and that optional refunds are at its discretion, requested within 120 days for card payments.
- Run the same product through StoreToAds. Paste your store link for 3 free ads. If they beat what you had, keep going; if not, you've paid nothing.
