What a banner set needs
- The sizes your buy requires. Common ones are 300x250, 728x90, 300x600, 320x50 and 970x250. Each needs its own layout: a leaderboard is not a squashed rectangle.
- A file-weight budget. Networks cap the size of the ZIP, so keep images compressed and animation simple.
- A click tag. The network's click-through variable, wired to the whole banner so clicks are tracked.
- A backup image. A static fallback for placements that can't run the animation.
- A short animation. Most specs cap animation length and loops, so the final frame should work on its own.
Where StoreToAds helps today
The hard part of a banner isn't the HTML. It's the message: which reason to buy, which proof, which price. StoreToAds works that out from your store in every batch and checks every fact. Teams that need HTML5 can use our ads two ways:
- As finished files for responsive placements: 1.91:1 and 1:1 images for Google's responsive display ads and Performance Max, plus Meta and Pinterest sizes.
- As the brief for the banner set: the headline, proof and price your best ad used, ready for whoever builds the HTML5 files.
Honest note: we don't export HTML5 files or fixed banner sizes. If you need a banner set built, you'll still need a dedicated HTML5 tool or a designer.
Banner copy that holds up at small sizes
- Five words or fewer for the headline on 320x50 and 728x90.
- One proof point, not three: the rating or the price.
- A button that says what happens next: Shop the 12-pack, not Learn more.
- A product photo large enough to recognize at 50 px tall, which usually means the cutout alone, with no background scene.
